Anyway, I am giving all my gratitude to those who bought the second printing variant of Gwapoman 2000! It left me 20 copies out of 60! Wow! Again, I was amazed on how it was sold! Back at Metro Comic Con, 60 copies were sold so in total, 100 copies are in the hands of the people! Oh wait, I believe some people even bought the 2nd printing variant even though they already have the first printing! And I think some even bought it without knowing that it was just a reprinted edition. Sorry about that guys!
There! I was really happy for all the people who got their books the attention they needed! And for the indies who got sold! It was an amazing convention with a lot of amazing titles! From Manix's 12 to Bujette's Trese (see what I did there?), Pinoy League of Heroes to Skyworld, Digmaang Salinlahi to Where Bold Stars Go To Die and a lot more! The indie booth was terrific once again having titles which are really awesome and creators which are really patient! Man! Thank you to Bayan Knights for being awesome once again! The Leinil Yu was nothing but brilliant! I don;t know what to say anymore. The convention was a major success!
Art auctions, contests and wait, cosplayers? Haha! I don't know but it seems off for me to see cosplayers at Komikon! Yes I know that even in San Diego, people cosplay there but a huge amount of people went with costumes last sunday! And there wasn't even a competition! I doubt that they didn't even know what they're getting into.
Disclaimer:
I'm not against cosplaying! I was just surprised that suddenly, tons of them popped into the scene!
Anyway, the con was awesome, the people were awesome, the merchandise was awesome. Need I say more? Komikon is getting more powerful each year! More power to you guys! And I think, the only ting needed for that convention is a second day!
Again, I thank you all for supporting the Filipino comicbook industry.
Mabuhay!
