Artist's Comments
In Philippines, they are known as a lesser-known mythological creature called the "Tahamaling".
Tahamalings are watchers of the forest, and protectors of animals. They are long-haired people, but with a red complexion. This is my own interpretation of a Tahamaling, in action, using some mystical stuff to protect animals and trees/nature from, of course, people.  This is a contest entry for  . It took me 4days to finish this work. It's kinda hard. Art by me, copyright copyright. |
